The SHKP Volunteer team served the elderly and those in need through various charity activities at Lunar New Year despite the pandemic.

Special move-in celebration for the elderly

Under the Redevelopment of Pak Tin Estate – Neighbourhood Support Programme, the SHKP Volunteer Team offered home inspection and basic renovations, along with other caring initiatives, to 600 elderly singleton and couples to alleviating their relocation concerns over the past three years. The programme was completed, with all elderly moved in at the beginning of year, but unable to participate in gatherings, the volunteers made mosaic photo stand, and sent charity poon choi by the Royal Plaza Hotel to celebrate the move-in and Lunar New Year. 

Gift bags under the Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative

Under the Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative, gift bags were sent to 4,000 elderly singletons and couples in Kwun Tong and Southern District at Lunar New Year to show love.
