In view of the new national development circumstances, demand for top talent has substantially increased, and more students on the mainland are taking postgraduate programmes after graduation. Having collaborated for 16 years, SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation and Zhejiang University have strengthened their connection by offering scholarships on a pilot basis for postgraduate students from underprivileged families to support their studies in advanced scientific research.
Over the years, nearly 2,000 students have benefitted from the scholarships established by SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation and successfully completed their studies. SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation Executive Director Amy Kwok hoped that Zhejiang University would develop into a world-class university with Chinese characteristics to promote the holistic development of young people to become top talent in various sectors.
