The Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon, for which SHKP is the title and charity sponsor, and which is organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, recently returned after a four-year absence. The mega event attracted nearly 4,000 cycling enthusiasts, who participated in six cycling events and races. All the participants enjoyed the thrilling competitive atmosphere in the cold weather.

The most popular cycling events were the non-competitive 50-km and 30-km rides, which were an unforgettable opportunity for the participants to enjoy an exciting ride through the city, cycling past various landmark Hong Kong buildings. A few hundred SHKP colleagues also participated in the events, exhibiting their cycling skills. Other thrilling cycling races included the Men's and Women's Open Race, and the Team Time Trial for The HKSAR 25th Anniversary Trophy.

To further promote the spirit of Sports for Charity, the organizer encouraged the participants to make registration donations. The registration fees for the CEO Charity and Celebrity Ride were donated to various charities. SHKP also made a top-up donation through The Community Chest of Hong Kong to support the needy in the community.
