14.02.2025

GO PARK Sai Sha, a new landmark offering sports, entertainment, dining and leisure activities, celebrated its grand opening in January.

Spanning 1.3 million square feet, the complex embraces the breathtaking natural landscape of Sai Sha, creating a beautiful backyard for all Hong Kong citizens. It is an ideal destination for people to enjoy a weekend of leisure activities.

Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR Government Eric Chan, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government Qi Bin, SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok, Senior Director of Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Limited Thomas Kwok, SHKP Executive Directors Adam Kwok and Christopher Kwok, and over 1,000 guests, including students, teachers, mentors and mentees from the Strive and Rise Programme, gathered at the grand opening ceremony to celebrate this landmark addition to Hong Kong.

The Sai Sha project, one of the city's largest integrated developments in recent years, is a vision that has taken decades to realize. At the opening ceremony, Raymond Kwok said: "Reflecting its commitment to 'Building Homes with Heart', SHKP is delighted to showcase the stunning landscape surrounding Sai Sha, creating a beautiful backyard for every Hong Kong citizen. This new landmark, designed for public enjoyment of sports, is also an ideal gathering place for families, allowing parents and children, as well as their pets, to spend quality time together. Our aim is to enhance the local community while attracting visitors from across Hong Kong."

GO PARK Sai Sha comprises two main areas. The first area is GO PARK Sports, a one million-square-foot outdoor sports park, which serves as a public-facing sports academy offering facilities tailored for more than 10 kinds of sports, including popular, urban, and newly emerged sports. It aims to encourage more people to engage in sports and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. The public can now book classes, personal coaching, events and facilities via the GO PARK Sports App and website.

The other area is a 300,000-square-foot sporting commercial complex, which features sports, leisure, dining and entertainment spaces. Highlights include a multi-purpose indoor stadium that can accommodate 1,500 people; three playgrounds for children, covering over 40,000 square feet; and a pet park spanning over 3,000 square feet. Additional facilities include a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a fencing school, a fitness gym and an outdoor climbing wall.

GO PARK Aqua, GO PARK Sai Sha's latest addition, is expected to begin operations soon. Covering an area of 130,000 square feet, the water sports centre highlights Sai Sha's unique coastal resources, and it will offer an extensive range of water sports, leisure activities and workshops.
