Since its establishment nearly two decades ago, the SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation has benefitted about 9,000 graduates, who now have joined the workforce or are studying for a postgraduate degree. At the recent Lu Ming SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation Outstanding Students Forum, held by the Hunan University SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation Student Association, nine alumni from class of 2016 who had benefitted from the SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation and been recommended to various universities explained the requirements, the process, and points to note for getting recommendations. There were over 120 participants, including beneficiary students of the 2017 and 2018 SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation scholarship programme and students from the Work Study Center of Hunan University. The junior students had an opportunity to learn from the senior students, and they aspired to improve together.
