The spread of mobile technology has helped bike-sharing mushroom in major Chinese cities because of the convenience and environmental benefits. Beijing APM is attuned to international trends and was quick to join in, setting up a parking lot on the Wangfujing high street with dedicated staff and regular maintenance to make it easier for customers to ride bikes and discourage casual parking.
