To encourage colleagues to stay positive during the pandemic and exercise more to build up their immunity, the Human Resources and Administration Department of the Shanghai Office recently held an online live sports event.
The company invited professional instructors to host eight online live sports sessions under four themes, Shoulder Physiotherapy, Pilates on a Mat, Body Shaping and Fat Loss Flow Yoga, to provide colleagues with an all-round workout. In the Shoulder Physiotherapy sessions, the instructor showed colleagues who sit for long hours at work how to relax their shoulder muscles and enhance their muscle strength. In the Pilates on a Mat sessions, colleagues learned how to train their core muscles to achieve better balance and how to enhance their brain’s neurosensory control of their limbs and musculoskeletal tissue through core muscle control. When coupled with proper breathing, this can maintain and improve form and posture. Sessions under the themes of Fat Loss Flow Yoga and Body Shaping were especially popular among female colleagues. Despite the pandemic, the participants trained hard to develop their body and fitness for health and happiness.
