In 2009, the SHKP-Kwoks' Foundation set up a scholarship programme at Tianjin University to sponsor talented students from underprivileged families to pursue undergraduate degrees. The programme has benefitted over 1,700 students to date. We recently received good news about two student beneficiaries: Guan Shiwei, class of 2017 in the School of Civil Engineering, and Cui Bohan, in the School of Mathematics, were awarded Tianjin University's Top 10 Improvement Stars. Both students have achieved outstanding academic performance, and have shown commendable improvement and a caring spirit.
