To send blessings to elderly people during the Dragon Boat Festival, the Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative volunteers recently prepared 3,000 lucky gift bags for seniors who live in Sai Kung and Tsuen Wan. The gift bags were thoughtfully filled with festive rice dumplings, other types of food, and anti-pandemic items for their enjoyment and to help maintain good health.

Through the Redevelopment of Pak Tin Estate – Neighbourhood Support Programme, the SHKP Volunteer Team provided care and support for older people affected by the redevelopment. In early May, more than 20 SHKP volunteers learned how to make rice dumpling decorative items in a video webinar. They then delivered handmade items and gift bags to the elderly participants in the programme, as well as senior residents in Sham Shui Po, to spread festive cheer.
