E-Sports are a form of competition in electronic game format, similar to traditional sports, since physical fitness, techniques and teamwork are required in the competitions. With increasing popularity, it is rumoured that E-Sports will likely be included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games! The subsidiary of SHKP, Sanfield participated in the recent Construction Industry E-Sport Games and won a championship, two first runner-up, a second runner-up, and three third runner-up awards.
As the pandemic has continued, the organizer, the Construction Industry Sports & Volunteering Programme (CISVP), changed the traditional sport games into E-Sports Games this year, including skiing, E-basketball and E-football techniques, boxing, cycling, horse-riding, leapfrogging and canoeing. Our Sanfield colleagues, who are always passionate about sports, participated in a series of events and were the champions in the cycling team competition. Among them, Fong Kwong-leong, was first runner-up in the E-basketball techniques competition. In addition, Sanfield received the Award for Most Participation for its keen participation, which was a great achievement. For colleagues who enjoy playing electronic games, don't let your talent go to waste since you might have a chance to represent Hong Kong one day!
