To provide assistance to the elderly affected by the redevelopment of Pak Tin Estate, the SHKP Volunteer Team has provided various types of support to them over the past three years, including home-inspection service, basic renovation work and regular home visits. Recently, the team visited elderly families in Pak Tin Estate during the Tuen Ng Festival. The volunteers distributed goodie bags and chit-chatted with the elderly to learn about their life after removal. The volunteers were gratified to see that they had settled down in their new homes and built close relationships with their neighbours amid the pandemic.

Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative Organizes Tuen Ng Festival Sharing Activity

In addition, through collaboration with social welfare organizations, SHKP's Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative shared the festive cheer and distributed Tuen Ng Festival goodie bags to underprivileged families in Central and Western District, Islands District and Eastern District.
