The Mid-Autumn Festival is a warm occasion for family reunions and celebrations. To bring festive cheer to the underprivileged and older people, SHKP recently distributed goodie bags containing mooncakes, noodles and stationery packs to underprivileged families in Tuen Mun and Sai Kung districts through the Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative to express care and blessings to people in need in the community. The SHKP Volunteer Team also visited grassroots families in Tuen Mun District, and joined students and their parents in the “Music and the Team” Intergenerational Programme to share the festive joy with the singleton elderly and two-elder families in Pak Tin Estate.
