SHKP is committed to achieving its ESG goals in various businesses. The property management team of International Commerce Centre (ICC) recently collaborated with the Caritas Computer Workshop to launch the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) recycling programme. This programme focuses on recycling electronic products that are discarded by tenants during relocations or appliance upgrades, with the ultimate aim of reducing the environmental impact associated with such waste. ICC donated over 700 computer monitors collected from tenants to the Caritas Computer Workshop, which delivered them to people in need in the community. By giving the computer products to the underprivileged, the programme helps the tenants address their electronic waste problem and effectively extends the lifespan of the products while helping those less fortunate.
