Last month, the SHKP Volunteer Team received two awards for their outstanding service. 

At the Hong Kong Volunteer Award 2024, jointly organized by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Agency for Volunteer Service, our team received a Top Ten Highest Volunteer Hours Award. This recognition highlights their remarkable contribution of over 70,000 volunteer hours last year.

The team also won an Outstanding Social Capital Partnership award at the Social Capital Builder Awards 2024, presented by the Community Investment & Inclusion Fund under the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau. The award was given for our volunteers' continous support to the elderly residents of Pak Tin Estate. Their efforts included home inspections, appliance installations and basic renovations. Furthermore, through music activities, the volunteers also fostered closer ties among different generations in the community.
