The SHKP Volunteer Team's service to the community was recognized recently with the Corporate Award in the Agency for Volunteer Service's Seventh Hong Kong Volunteer Award and a 2nd runner-up for the Highest Service Hour Award 2016 (Private Organizations - Category 1) at the Hong Kong Volunteer Award Presentation Ceremony from the Social Welfare Department.

The team additionally took part in the DIY Inclusion Carnival and did leather crafts with disabled people. Volunteers also ran a game stall at the carnival to support social inclusion.

The Love Nature Campaign organized beach clean-ups on Lantau Island and in Sai Kung this fall with over 200 secondary school teachers, students and their parents getting an "environmental conservation lesson" by learning about the ecological and historical value of the surrounding environment.
