SHKP offers care to the needy and works for a better society through its Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative and SHKP Volunteer Team.

SHKP volunteers helped singleton elders and families in need living in On Tat Estate and On Tai Estate in Kwun Tong do basic tasks like inspecting their new flats, tiling floors and installing lights. They will also drop in on the elderly from time to time to see that they adapt to their new homes.

As the Mid-Autumn Festival is drawing close, the Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative gave out 7,500 mooncakes to seniors in Kowloon City, Tsuen Wan and Sham Shui Po to share the festive joy and make them feel loved.

The SHKP Volunteer Team is planning to set up an elderly volunteer team in Pak Tin Estate with a social welfare organization to promote the "being helped and helping others" spirit and establish a stronger neighbourhood support network. Recently, the team also worked with the NAAC Tai Po North Integrated Children and Youth Services Centre to launch a ten-month programme for disadvantaged children to nurture growth and broaden their horizons through a variety of experiential activities.
