Cancer is the deadliest illness in Hong Kong. Group Training recently invited Clinical Oncology Specialist Dr. Sze Wing-kin to explain the causes, treatments and prevention of cancer to colleagues to help them improve their lifestyle and avoid the illness.
Dr. Sze said that eating more food rich in antioxidants can help prevent cancer and even combat the effects of ageing. This type of food includes grapes, berries (such as strawberries, blueberries and raspberries), nuts, broccoli, green tea, fish and a moderate amount of red wine. He also advised the participants to practice meditation, which can soothe the emotions, reduce stress and enhance immunity.
