SHKP held a host of different activities to celebrate Chinese New Year with the elderly. The Building Homes with Heart Caring Initiative recently hosted Poon Choi lunches for 1,700 seniors from Central, Western, Island and Yau Tsim Mong Districts at Noah's Ark in Ma Wan Park. Seniors who took part even went on stage and put on some incredible performances.

In March, the SHKP volunteer team visited various districts, from Yau Tsim Mong to far-off Tai O. They helped organize a feast for the elderly and distributed gifts to show community care. They also joined forces with other charities to show their concern and support for caregivers of the elderly through home visits. Recently, it fielded the 8th Hong Kong Bowling Tournament for All organized by the Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation and won the overall group champion.
