GO PARK Sai Sha, a new landmark offering sports, entertainment, dining and leisure activities, celebrated its grand opening in January.
Spanning 1.3 million square feet, the complex embraces the breathtaking natural landscape of Sai Sha, creating a beautiful backyard for all Hong Kong citizens. It is an ideal destination for people to enjoy a weekend of leisure activities.
Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR Government Eric Chan, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government Qi Bin, SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok, Senior Director of Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Limited Thomas Kwok, SHKP Executive Directors Adam Kwok and Christopher Kwok, and over 1,000 guests, including students, teachers, mentors and mentees from the Strive and Rise Programme, gathered at the grand opening ceremony to celebrate this landmark addition to Hong Kong.
The Sai Sha project, one of the city's largest integrated developments in recent years, is a vision that has taken decades to realize. At the opening ceremony, Raymond Kwok said: "Reflecting its commitment to 'Building Homes with Heart', SHKP is delighted to showcase the stunning landscape surrounding Sai Sha, creating a beautiful backyard for every Hong Kong citizen. This new landmark, designed for public enjoyment of sports, is also an ideal gathering place for families, allowing parents and children, as well as their pets, to spend quality time together. Our aim is to enhance the local community while attracting visitors from across Hong Kong."
GO PARK Sai Sha comprises two main areas. The first area is GO PARK Sports, a one million-square-foot outdoor sports park, which serves as a public-facing sports academy offering facilities tailored for more than 10 kinds of sports, including popular, urban, and newly emerged sports. It aims to encourage more people to engage in sports and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. The public can now book classes, personal coaching, events and facilities via the GO PARK Sports App and website.
The other area is a 300,000-square-foot sporting commercial complex, which features sports, leisure, dining and entertainment spaces. Highlights include a multi-purpose indoor stadium that can accommodate 1,500 people; three playgrounds for children, covering over 40,000 square feet; and a pet park spanning over 3,000 square feet. Additional facilities include a temperature-controlled swimming pool, a fencing school, a fitness gym and an outdoor climbing wall.
GO PARK Aqua, GO PARK Sai Sha's latest addition, is expected to begin operations soon. Covering an area of 130,000 square feet, the water sports centre highlights Sai Sha's unique coastal resources, and it will offer an extensive range of water sports, leisure activities and workshops.

Sanfield, SHKP's construction arm, launched the 2024 Environmental Day on 10 October to encourage colleagues to go green in both the workplace and everyday life. On the event day, Sanfield organized a series of activities, including reusable goods donation and exchange, a vegetarian lunch and a half-hour lights-out session.
This marked the third edition of Sanfield Environmental Day, which was initiated to support Hong Kong's Climate Action Plan 2050. We are committed to supporting initiatives that foster innovation and were delighted to serve as the venue sponsor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Entrepreneur Day 10th Anniversary Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition. The seven-day exhibition was held at the high-traffic New Town Plaza. SHKP Executive Director Christopher Kwok attended the kick-off ceremony of the event on 22 August.
This was the first time the exhibition went beyond the campus. It showcased cutting-edge research from faculty, students, alumni and innovative teams, allowing the public to engage with remarkable technologies including AI chess robots and text-generation robots, and to participate in interactive games and STEM workshops.
As a popular shopping destination in Hong Kong, New Town Plaza also hosted the well-received CUHK 60th Anniversary Miniature Exhibition last year, which introduced CUHK’s iconic campus to the public.
